Needs better browser support.2
For the most part this is a nice camera, but for the price I would expect better browser capabilities. Out of the box this camera will not work with Vista in most cases, and calls into tech support will get you no further ahead. I finally found that by removing Microsoft Silverlight, that I could finally view the camera (something tech support had no idea of). The fact that you can view in i.e. only is unexcusable, I will not purchase another of these cameras based on that alone.

Lexmark X4875 Wireless Professional All-In-One Inkjet Printer

Great little printer.5
I purchased this printer about a month or so ago. It arrived quickly and in very good shape. It has been working great! Doesn’t hold as much paper as some of the other printers, but prints on both sides. It is wireless and we haven’t had any issues in that area. We really haven’t had problems with it at all so far and would recommend it to others who are looking for an uncomplicated little printer that is color and wireless.

Very Chic5
I just bought this printer and really like it. My favorite feature thus far is its ability to copy with a zoom setting. I think the copy quality is excellent, and I love how it fills out the entire page with no margins! Another thing I like about this printer is its overall design. One of the reasons I bought it was because the flatbed is large without things that get in the way of the huge book I will inevitably try to scan. Nice job, Lexmark! PS: I haven’t tried the wireless or photo printing yet, but I’m optimistic.

Get what you pay for2
It started off as a good economy printer/scanner/copier. Printing quality is mediocre. Scanning is average. Setup was unusually long with an excessive amount of install files. None of this bothered me much.

But after a few times with the obscene voice announcing that “Printing Complete” I had enough. Playing with the drivers was confusing but I finally got rid of the voice. Then I started having notifications and advertisements for ink cartridges. Then the printer kept saying the ink cartridges were out, yet they were recently purchased. Test prints proved that the cartridges were fine, but the computer would not let me print. Why am I having arguments with the printer? Why is my printer talking back to me?

Poor implementation of a simple product. I’d avoid Lexmark and look to other “friendlier” brands.

Samsung CLX-3175FN Color Laser Multi-function Printer

This day I’ll introduce you about Samsung CLX-3175FN Color Laser Multi-function Printer I make this product appeal to young people

BuZZ from Customer Shopping

Excellent Printer! Color copy is 96% of that of the Original!4
I rarely write reviews, but I have always used Amazon’s site to preview products and read others’ reviews that I decided it was time I gave back.
So I purchased the Samsung Printer from another seller at $299.00, the price alone is worth 2 stars.
Just a little about my purchase decisions….I’ve owned 20 printers since 1994; the first Canon color inkjet, BJC-600, and then the Epson Stylus, and now 20models later, the Samsung Color Laser CLX-3175 … I never really thought I would buy a Samsung for a printer, usually I buy Epson or HP. Epson is better with inkjet and HP I feel is the King with laser technology. So…Why a Samsung….For 2 years I’ve been searching for a color all in one, it had to be laser, I was sick of the drying inks, I did not print much in full color but when I did, the tanks were empty or clogged.
Until I saw the Samsung I decided on either the HP all in one, like the Color LaserJet CM1312mfp or the Color LaserJet 2820mfp. The size of those machines delayed the purchase, I didn’t have the room for it so I figured I would wait until my older HP LaserJet 6p died and my Epson 980 needed a new cartridge. I was looking for a Plasma screen on Samsung’s website and that’s where my love affair began. Within 20 minutes I ordered it! It’s probably the fastest purchase decision on an electronic device ever for me. I usually wait until I read a dozen reviews etc. . But the price had me thinking even if it’s not what I expected, I would just sell it when it needs toner or, I could always give it to my mother as she needs an all in one as is not as picky as I am.
Anyway back to the review, I ordered my printer on Thursday and received it on Monday. I unboxed the printer and it was already assembled with the cartridges preinstalled. The unit was nicely taped in all the spots that would come affixed during shipping. You only must install the arm for the ADF. Earlier that day, before I received the printer I went to Samsung’s website and downloaded the drivers and software. Samsung did an extraordinary job with the software and drivers. The Printing software, The Scanner software, and the Printer Console software were all separate packages. So you did not have to install all three packages on all computers. Also, you have the option of installing a Mono printing software package, this is extremely valuable! This mean if you have children or co-workers who may waste your toner printing color documents, you can restrict them by only allowing them to print in black and white, and they wouldn’t even know HAHA.
The software is NOT bloated like HP software, the color drivers are less then 10mb and so are the Scanner drivers. The printer console software is about 80mb; this package is basically like a printer monitor and extended menus. Personally I did not find needing to install it since the entire Printer setup could be viewed by entering its IP number, web setup.
I have to give this printer another star just because the drivers are simple, to the point and consists of less than 100mb and 20mb if that.
System setup was simple! All I had to do was plug it in and connect the network cable as I use it over the network. I have setup my router set to use DHCP, so the TCP/IP settings are all done automatically. Assuming all your computers are configured properly. When you run the drivers the setup asks you if it’s a local setup meaning USB or Networked, after that it automatically finds your printer by IP number.
I choose to print a test page and 20 seconds later… a nicely printed demo printout. I was amazed. To test the copy quality I decided to copy it and compare. WOW that’s all I can say, it took me 15 seconds to figure out which was the original, I purposely mixed them up. If it passed that test, then I knew it was a keeper!
The next thing I did was setup the Scanning feature. I ran the second drivers package for the scanner and just like the print driver interface, so was the same, chose network setup etc. The next thing I did was go to the scanner’s pc interface and selected where I wanted the scanned documents to be stored. I then went to the printer, placed 10 sheets in the ADF, pressed the scan button, and then selected “scan to pc,” my laptop’s pc name was shown, and selected it by pressing “ok” then chose the resolution etc followed lastly by file type, which I chose for my test PDF. About a minute later, in my documents folder on my wireless notebook, there was a 10 page PDF! Now that’s what I love!
For around $300.00 this was an excellent purchase. I can now digitize all my documents in PDF, organize them so with a search and a few seconds, any document could be found. Printing is excellent too, I will not complain if this printer shoots out a color page in 20 seconds, because it really doesn’t bother me, because inkjet takes longer. The print quality from 1-10 I would have to say about 8.5. After all the resolution is 600 x 600 and that’s a given. I printed a picture and it looked amazing, why not a ten then? Well only because some color laser jets have 1200 dpi, and that means double the dots and precision so my rating is ONLY an 8.5 because higher resolution printers exist. If they didn’t exist I would rate the quality a 10.
I haven’t faxed yet, I usually receive faxes via email through a subscription based service. I mainly need to print and scan.
This printer is feature packed! Another two features I will write about are the Scan and Print via USB and the web based console. If you do not have your home or office networked it’s easy for others to print or scan, honestly all you do is plug in your USB flash drive and select the file, that’s it! Or choose Save to USB for scanned documents. Great for when you want to shut down your pc and others have to print and are not networked.
The web based console is awesome; you can setup the time, fax stamp, and ringer setup all over HTML vs. pressing the printer’s menu button a dozen times and key all the factors one by one. Also if there is a problem, tech support can look at the printer the same way you do.
The reason I am not giving this printer 5 stars is sadly because it does not have a manual feed slot and I really used it on other printers as I hate writing addresses on envelopes. The solution I have is to use labels. The added plus by not feeding envelopes is no jams or wear and tear on the rollers. I guess that helps with the disappointment. If you print Letterhead then either use the watermark and or Letterhead feature or you will have to slide the trey out when needed.
I hope this review helps!

ONE LAST TIP!!! USE COLOR LASER PAPER, SERIOUSLY YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY A TON FOR COLOR LASER PAPER EITHER, I PURCHASED A 500 PAGE REAM FOR $7.99 113 BRIGHTNESS!!!! 24LB. OFFICEDEPOT BRAND
UPC/BAR CODE 032476549257 I TRIED 3 PREMIUM TYPES AND THIS WAS THE BEST! FEELS EXPENSIVE!!! NICE AND SMOOTH AND OFCOURSE BRILLIANT!!

Good, but needs improvement.3
I purchased this item from another retailer at $299.99, the price is great for a color laser multi function printer with a very different and unique design.

The size of this machine is amazingly small and the design, as I have previously mentioned is fantastic, very appealing and the quality of its construction is very solid.

What I do not like about this multifunction is the following:

1. It lacks wireless connectivity.
2. It lacks bluetooth connectivity.
3. It lacks an independent tray for envelopes.
4. It lacks auto duplex printing and scanning.
5. It lacks a better scanner, scanner drivers and software.

The most annoying feature, is the lack of an independent envelope feeder or tray, because you literally have to remove the entire stack of paper, in order to be able to adjust the tray to be able to insert an envelope.

This is extremely frustrating for me, because for every letter that I print, I must also print and envelope, which translates to the following scenario:

Get up, remove the tray, remove the paper, adjust the tray, insert the envelope (which often gets stuck), then adjust the tray, put the paper back in, insert the tray and repeat the entire process all over again for each letter and envelope that I have to print.

I am very surprised that Samsumg came out with such a high quality product, with an amazing design, but did not add wireless and bluetooth capabilities. Most of the HP’s have either one of these features built in and a lot of them actually have both.

Despite having an Auto Document Feeder (ADF), it lacks duplex printing and duplex scanning, and I would have been happy if it at least it had duplex printing. If you need one with both of these features, get the Canon MP830, which has superior scanning capabilities than even the newer Canon MP850, which uses ICS, as oppossed to the MP830′s CCD.

Copying was accurate and fast, both in black and white and color, as well as fast faxing capabilities.

Scanning, on the other hand was poor, very poor. Scans were pale, and I could never get 100% sized scans from the originals, no matter how many adjustments I made. They always seem to be smaller, especially when compared to other scans of the same documents made by a Canon MP830.

The low quality of the scan, is because, Samsung, and other manufacturers, including Canon, are now using cheap ICS (Image Contact Sensor) technology, which is much more cost efficient, as opposed to the Charge Coupled Device (CCD), technology, which produces extremely high quality, very accurate, crisp and detailed scans.

The difference between these two technologies is such, that a scan made by the Canon MP830 saved at a low PDF quality resolution, is better than one made by the Samsung saved at a Maximum Quality PDF resolution, yes it is that bad, but acceptable to most people.

Printing, on the other hand was extremely good, very crisp and sharp text, with extremely good color prints. This is an extremely affordable and very good color printer.

All in all, it is a good machine if you are not too demanding or simply do not know enough about this product and the lack of some very important features that are missing, like the ability to be able to print an envelope without having to waste so much time, by simply having added an independent tray for it.

I unfortunately had to return mine, primarily because I need one that can at least provide me with an envelope tray without having to remove the paper, duplex copying, printing and scanning, with good high quality scans.

So, I ended up with my old Canon MP830 again, wich is also missing wireless and bluetooth capabilities and is not as small, light and nice looking as the Samsung, but far faster, more functional, with amazing quality scans.

Small, Fast, no noise … Great All-in-one Printer4
It is less than a week that I started to use with this printer at home. It is one of my best printers ever. The color print quality is not as good as our Xerox DC-242 workstation in the office, but if you compare this $300 printer to that $10,000 huge printer, you can see that this little printer is fantastic. The monochrome output is as excellent as a professional laser printer and fast enough for a home or a small business printer.
The network port is very helpful to print and scan wirelessly. Also there is a way to scan to emails.
The only think that I do not like is the second paper tray which is very small and has no slider to fit envelopes, so I have to replace envelopes in the main tray when I need to print on an envelope.

Kodak 4-in-1 Printer with Wi-Fi – Gloss Black (ESP9)

This day I’ll introduce you about Kodak 4-in-1 Printer with Wi-Fi – Gloss Black (ESP9) I make this product appeal to young people

BuZZ from Customer Shopping

A wonderful machine!5
I had read a lot of reviews about this all-in-one before purchasing it. I also read a lot of reviews on other all-in-one’s as well. It really seemed like people either loved them or hated them. I, for one, love this machine. I was a little worried about some of the things that I had read, and yes, it does have a couple of little “glitches” but they are easily overlooked by the ease of use & the quality of the photos.

First, this machine was very easy to set up and almost magically found my wireless connection. It also prints quite easily from all of my computers. No muss, no fuss. Everything installed quickly and easily. The only computer that it won’t work on is my ancient (10 years old) computer and it immediately let me know that the software was not compatible. That isn’t a problem for me as it has had it’s own printer for as many years.

I’m hugely impressed with it’s ease of use. I haven’t even had to download any instructions for this machine yet. Although I haven’t tried the duplexer out as yet. I love it and hope to have it around for many years to come.

The “problems” that I’ve found are very minor. First, it does make some noise when it spools. A little more than I’ve been used to with my old HP. But still not bad enough for me to not purchase it. I have also had my computer tell me that it’s not connected to the printer and then flawlessly print whatever I’d sent to the printer. So, I really can’t complain about it at all. It also kind of “washes” the colors out on a printed document on plain paper. It’s not horrible by any means, but if you are looking for something very crisp and professional, I would probably look at another machine.

Overall, this is a really super nice machine and I’m very glad to have purchased mine. They are a little pricey but I hope to use it so much that I eventually offset the cost of the printer with the cheaper ink. So far, we are off to a good start!

Kodak ESP-9 A REALLY NICE PRINTER!5
First off, I ordered this printer on a home shopping network because I was so impressed with everything this printer offered. However, after I ordered it, I was really worried because of so many negative reviews, I was SO WORRIED in fact that I had just about decided that when my printer did arrive through UPS, I was going to send it back right away! Well, thank goodness I didn’t do that, I decided I have 30 days to try it and if I don’t like it, I can always send it back. When you first take your printer out of the box, there is alot of tape and styrofoam blocks that you have to take off and out of the printer, so make sure you get all of it, there are even some styrofoam blocks taped inside where the ink cartridges go.
Installing this printer was absolutely the easiest I have ever done on any printer. (took me less than 10 minutes!) My old HP printer took almost an hour to install! I connected my printer using my USB port first, then I also installed it using the wireless connection….everything went perfectly. Then came the printing!
I printed out 2 documents, one in color and the other in black and white, both came out perfectly. No errors in printing and the colors and blacks were perfect. I have had my printer for 3 days now and I am still printing photos, so far I have printed out about 12 4×6 color photos and about 40 black and white documents (front and back sides with the 2 sided printing option) My ink cartridges are now showing 60% full in color and 70% full in black. One thing you want to make sure of is that you use only KODAK paper because when I used my old HP photo paper, the colors were not as vivid as when I used the Kodak paper. (some of the customer complaints were about the reds not being very red and yellows not yellow) When I use my Kodak Premium Photo paper, the photos come out flawless, absolutely stunning in detail! Reds are just as red as can be!!! On my old HP paper, the photos still came out great but just not as vivid as on the Kodak paper.
One thing I did have to do is update the drivers on the Kodak website, because when I would go to print a 2 sided document (which you have to do all the necessary adjustments in the printers options menu) it would print the first side perfectly but when you turned your paper over, the text would be upside down! (hmmm!) AFTER I updated my drivers on the Kodak Website, it fixed that issue and now prints a 2 sided document like it is supposed to. The only other issue I had was when I used my “duplexer” after I updated my drivers, all of a sudden my duplexer started printing only in black and white. I tried to make the necessary adjustments in the printer menu but nothing worked. So I called tech support (which was very fast and courteous towards me, no waiting and very fast and knowledgeable about this printer) and the girl told me to go in and reset the printer to “default settings” under the configure settings menu, so I did and then the duplexer started printing in color and/or black and white like it is supposed to do!!!
Now everything is like it should be. The printer is not noisy at all while printing, it is however “a little noisy” while “spooling” or when you first turn your printer on and it performs it’s usual setting up functions. Not so noisy that it bothers me in the least, but some people referred to the noise as being so terribly loud, mine is not that loud at all…yes it is a little louder than my old HP but not so loud that it is a concern. (I guess that is a big issue for some people)
The touchscreen is a very nice feature and works like a charm! The screen on the front is very clear and large and you can preview and edit your photos before you print them out directly from your printer!
Another thing that was a big complaint with alot of people is how the paper shoots out of this printer. WRONG! I don’t think alot of those people even realized that when you pull out the paper catcher (which is located right above the paper drawers) there is a 3/4 inch lip or piece on the end that you have to slide up first. (I didn’t even notice it there until yesterday!) It folds flat down on the paper catcher and it is hard to notice that piece at first but after I realized it folds UP and OUT, it catches ALOT of paper!!!! I printed out a bunch of documents and it caught everyone of them. Nothing flew out of my printer.
The paper drawers are really great, you can put regular printer paper in the bottom drawer and photo paper in the drawer just above it and the printer automatically knows what paper to use. The 2 sided printing is really great, it prints the first side of your paper, then sucks the paper back in and prints on the other side! (really neat feature!) It saves me alot on wasted paper too!!!
The camera card slots that are on the front of this printer is a nice feature too because as soon as you put in your SD card (or memory card) all your photos come up on the screen and you touch the arrows on the touchscreen to choose which picture you want to print and edit them if you wish and then print right off your memory card! You can even zoom in (or crop) your photos and the pictures come out really nice in your final prints! The scanner works really good – no problems at all scanning and printing, the copies come out perfectly for me!
I hope my review helps you in deciding whether or not you want to try this printer and if you have doubts, do like I did and try it first! (most stores allow you X amount of time to try it out and if you are not happy you can always return it) But truth be told, I know you will be impressed with this machine just as I am! I am so glad I tried this printer out first before relying on the negative reviews.
BUT TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE… I have only had this printer for 3 days now so if I do encounter any problems, I will update my review and let you know about it but so far so good!!!! I am highly impressed with this printer!!! The ink cartridges are so very inexpensive ($10.00 for black and $15.00 for color) and this Kodak ESP-9 prints out breathtaking photos and texts!!!

Best printer on the market.5
This is the best all in one ink jet printer that I’ve had. I have abaut 5 different all in ones, but this Kodak ESP-9 is by far the best one in performance and best one in price on printing. Nothing to say against this wonderfull printer. But the only thing that can be done, is Kodak to offer online tech support instead of phone suppurt that they have. Highly recommend this product.

Tremendous laptop!! Very pleased with it5
As compared to other laptops at roughly the same price point, this computer is a much, much better deal. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.

I bought this the 1st day it went on sale at Amazon – was literally about to pull the trigger on another laptop, but this popped up new on a final scan, so I bought it instead.

Main features that make it a great buy for the price are:

- A better, faster processor that is also Intel’s latest offering (Quad Core Q9000)
- Lots of memory (4G)
- A bigger hard drive (500G)
- A larger screen (18.4″)
- A Blu-Ray drive (for HD movies)

I wanted a very high performance laptop for under $2,000 – and was especially keen to find something with killer processor speed, a graphics card to drive 2 external HD monitors, and a big laptop screen.

I use the machine for general business purposes, but also most importantly for web development work running Drupal and an Apache development server on the machine, along with big programs like Dreamweaver and Photoshop – all running pretty much at once. I do not use for gaming, but believe it would be great for that, too. I also don’t use so much for video / movies, even though it is heavily designed with that in mind.

I extensively researched machines from Dell, Alienware, Sony, Asus, and other leading vendors (I didn’t want a Mac, so didn’t compare against that). I’m not a hard core techie, but I wanted the best I could buy, so I also looked at the Intel site and their processor specs, visited the geek blogs to get the latest gossip on processor performance, etc.

So far I couldn’t be happier with the machine! It is great. Very, very fast. Laptop screen is large and super high quality. The keyboard is really lovely – very smooth, like silk.

A few notes on things I’ve learned about the machine so far:

- It is a big laptop. That’s probably obvious from the 18.4″ screen, but it is also pretty heavy and the power cord/transformer is bigger and heavier than normal (takes a lot of power to fuel the processor and screen). So while the computer is certainly portable, it sure doesn’t fit in your back pocket. If you are a highly mobile worker, this might be a factor.

- Baseline graphics card will support dual external monitors and/or an HD TV connection. I am currently running 1 external 1680×1050 plus laptop screen, but will be adding 2nd external soon (the cabling for doing this is a bit confusing, but I think I now have it figured out).

- The entire HDX line of laptops is new (introduced Fall ’08 from what I understand) and there is not yet a complete line-up of accessories available. For instance, I was thinking to get a docking station to configure my monitors, but only docking station that currently works with the machine is the HP QuickDock or xB4 and these do not have digital video/monitor ports (VGA only) which renders them pretty useless if you have high performance monitors. As well, they do not yet sell ‘official’ HP memory upgrades for this machine yet (tech support indicates they probably will later this year, so worth checking if that’s important to you). In the meantime, you can use off-the-shelf memory from Amazon or wherever. Memory is DDR2 800Mhz 200 pin (which isn’t stated anywhere obvious that I saw), but can be switched over to DDR3 if you upgrage to the enhanced graphics card.

- After many painful hours on hold and being routed from one tech support rep to another, I learned that there is a dedicated tech support group for the HDX laptops. For some reason, they provide only the main number in the collateral that comes with the machine – and no one at that number seems to know about this special group. But eventually somebody figured to route me there and I recommend you go there directly. 866-408-5408.

Overall, I love this machine and highly recommend it to others.

Well designed laptop – great desktop replacement5
I bought this laptop a few weeks ago to use for my small business in various areas of my home and for travel. The laptop saves energy compared to using my desktop (also Energy Star compliant). It’s also a great desktop replacement because of the expandability, powerful processor, screen size and keyboard layout. I looked at comparable units from Toshiba, Dell and ASUS, but they cost a lot more and/or didn’t include the faster processor. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck with this one.

For those who want to be able to view TV on the laptop, HP sells a USB TV tuner for around $98, so no need to worry about the lack of a built-in TV tuner. The media drive includes Blu-ray, which is nice.

PROS: The extended keyboard with separate numeric keys is a nice feature. You can even turn off power to the touchpad if you use a USB mouse. I also like the fingerprint reader. You don’t have to use it, but it saves time typing in passwords when logging in to Windows or sites online. The HDMI port is great for connecting to larger monitors or TVs. HDMI outputs sound as well, which is awesome!

CONS: I’d prefer XP over Vista. Some of my specialized 32-bit programs don’t run as well on the 64-bit OS, but most are fine. I wish the screen weren’t glossy because it’s hard to use outdoors with the reflection.

UPDATE: I’ve had the laptop for a few months now and still love it. The keyboard is great for touch-typists. The only glitches I’ve noticed have been related to the sound device and fingerprint reader. I think the problems were OS-related, because they seem to be resolved now. For a short time the fingerprint reader wasn’t being recognized even though it worked initially. Then the OS had problems detecting when to use the HDMI sound output, even though that also worked correctly initially. I had to help it detect which device I wanted it to use for sound output, and now it’s working fine again.

I’d definitely buy this laptop again and have already recommended it to friends. A great backpack for it is the Alienware Orion backpack. It fits perfectly and isn’t bulky at all, although it’s a bit more expensive than some other options.

Nice computer with a couple minor issues4
I just purchased this January 1st 2009. All in all a great computer. Really nice display. It feels solid. The camera works great. It has a real nice sound. I would purchase it again. I would also recommend it to a friend.

Here’s the case I also purchased from Amazon. Miltigiant 20 Largest Multi Design Nb Case. Copy and paste in the search bar. Miltigiant 20 Largest Multi Design Nb Case

But let’s get to the complaints.
I use Filemaker all day. The arrow down key is already starting to wear to a solid black. I would say that at my rate the silver should be gone by the end of the year and I will have a black key where the arrow down should be. All other keys look fine so far. My Thinkpad is 5 years old with 5 years of Filemaker use and still doesn’t have any signs of wear on that key or any others.

I don’t know how to describe the feel of the keyboard other than saying it feels worn out, cheap, imprecise. Very noisy compared to my old Thinkpad. Clicky. If the keyboard is your most important criteria, I highly recommend you go try one of these out at Best Buy or WalMart before purchasing. That way it won’t be a big shock when you get it.

When I get a chance I’ll post a picture of the key that is wearing.

Right above the power button there is a vibration at the speaker that sounds like the speaker is distorting. It is not. All you have to do is press slightly on the mesh and it will go away. I would attempt to fix this, but I have external speakers, so I won’t be bothered often.

Right where my hand rests on the front, I get a squeek from the seams in the plastic. Not a big deal for me. It could be bothersome to some. You go to put your hand down and “squeek”. You lift it back up and “squeek”.

I wish there were some sort of rubber plugs to fill all the open “peripheral” holes to keep them clean over the next few years.

This is a 64 bit edition of Vista. AutoCad 2004 doesn’t work on it and AutoCad could care less. AutoCad says I need to upgrade. This is not HPs fault or Microsoft. I just thought somebody might want to know before it’s too late.

Some of my Adobe programs have issues with Vista 64 which Adobe has no plans of addressing.

What’s funny is that I have a picture viewing program that I purchased in 1996 that runs just fine.

This is vented from the bottom. If you would like to put this on your lap or on the bed when traveling etc., you will need some sort of “table”. I have a 1/16″ aluminum panel, slightly larger than the computer, always underneath unless I’m on a solid surface. The panel also helps stiffen the case when transporting.

06-09-09 update
You also must use the cloth protector that goes between the keyboard and the screen. Keyboard parts will rub on the screen and cause marks…..like I now have. I don’t know if the cloth would actually help or just make things worse.

What is really sad is that here is a new product from HP and nobody has bothered to contact me about these issues. If it were my product line, I’m sure I would read the reviews on the largest online retailer in the world and attempt contacting some. I guess it’s just a sign of the times. Nobody really cares after you’ve spent the money. And I’m not asking for anything.

That’s it for now.
